Abstract
The presented article analyzes the processes of formation of the required consumer properties of platinite wire, which is a bimetallic composition consisting of an iron-nickel core and an outer copper layer. The preferred technology for producing this type of product is the solid-phase bonding process between an iron-nickel core and a copper sheath. An analysis of the regulatory and technical documentation governing this type of product was completed, and key quality indicators necessary for the industrial use of platinum wire were determined. Based on the results of analytical and experimental studies, key factors influencing the quality of the final product were identified. It is established that, against the backdrop of a combination of phenomena occurring during the rolling of a composite bimetallic blank, the deformation mode is the most important factor determining the quality of the finished product, including the key factor - the sheath thickness variation coefficient. It has been determined that rational conditions for deformation of a bimetallic workpiece can be realized using a two-stand rolling system. A new method for oxidizing the surface of platinite at the final stage of the production process was developed and implemented on Pilot-industrial equipment. The results presented in the article were used in organizing the industrial production of oxidized platinite.
